QUALITY FIRST ESCROW, INC.

Stan Pilon, owner of Quality First Escrow, Inc., this week announced the reopening of their office in the aftermath of the Delft Square Fire. “We are immensely grateful to Shane VanDalen who offered us vacant space in his New York Life building at 6th and Liberty Streets,” Pilon said. “The office space and services are perfect for us and still conveniently located in downtown Lynden where we wanted to stay.”

All the office furnishings and equipment of Quality First Escrow were destroyed in the June 9th fire that gutted Delft Square in downtown Lynden. However, customer files and company records were located on computer servers off-site so no work product was lost.

“Even though the real estate market is going through a lot of changes right now, we are more determined than ever to provide quality, licensed escrow closing services to this community and the County where I have such deep roots,” Stan says.

“The past few weeks have been interesting, to say the least. We are, of course, unable to adequately thank everyone who assisted in the Delft Square tragedy, from the firefighters, police and City workers, to Gary Vis and the Chamber of Commerce, and untold members of the public who all gave selflessly wherever they were needed.”

“And even though there was some criticism of the building owners for how long it took to let us back into the building to survey the damage, I respect the care taken by property managers Jim Bjerke and Tom Day of Pacific Continental Realty to make sure the building was safe before allowing entrance. They were magnificent about calling us and giving us almost daily reports. Our insurance adjusters, as well, have been extremely helpful in assisting us with our claim.”

To encourage the community to use their services, Quality First Escrow has announced it is matching the published escrow rate schedules of its competitors, and offering a further discount to buyers and sellers for at least the remainder of the summer.

Quality First Escrow, Inc. can be contacted at 517 Liberty Street in Lynden, by phone at (360) 354-4567 or via their website at www.qualityfirst.biz.
