Cut It Out! Exploring Collage and Mixed Media 1 Day Class Date: Wednesday, July 28 from 10:00am-12:00pm Instructor: Jill Roderick Designed with beginners in mind, your child will learn what a collage is, explore creative collage ideas, and apply basic collage techniques to complete a fun and unique piece of art at their level. We’ll use a variety of papers and other “fun junk” to create an animal collage of the student’s choice. We’ll look at a few famous artists who have used mixed media collage and evaluate what makes artwork exciting and successful. This workshop allows lots of creative freedom, along with skills needed to begin an artistic journey into self-expression, reflection, and creative “outside the box” thinking! AGES: Kids 6 – 10 CLASS FEES: $25.00 CLASS SIZE: Maximum 10 students. MATERIALS: No fee, materials included with class price. PROTOCOLS: Masks are required for all participants and instructors.
