Indies First is a year-round campaign in support of independent bookstores by authors and publishers. Sherman Alexie came up with the idea for writers to support their local indie by volunteering to work at the store on Small Business Saturday in 2013. We’ll have local author Jes Stone on hand from 2-4pm, to sign copies of her new book, The Last Outrageous Woman and talk about her favorite reads this season. Saturday, November 25, is the day to shop small for Small Business Saturday. Support your local, independent businesses so that we can continue to support our community (that’s you, by the way)!
