Every Wednesday, the J?ansen Art Center? invites you to join us for? a free? live music performance in our Piano Lounge from 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM. ?Each week we welcome a different talented local ?pianist, guitarist or small ensemble.? FEBRUARY 21: NELL VEENSTRA Nell Veenstra received her Bachelor of Arts in Music Education and Piano Performance from Calvin College in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Her teaching experience spans 30 plus years, working with children and adults. Nell has held memberships in the American Orff-Schulwerk Association (AOSA) and the Music Teachers National Association, in addition to the local chapter in Lynden. (LMTA) Nell has directed children and adult choirs in her church and has managed the music program for Friendship, a program for mentally challenged adults. Nell enjoys performing. Currently, she plays part-time for church services and volunteers as a music teacher at the Christian Health Care Center. Every Wednesday, the J invites you to join us for live music with your lunch. Each week, we welcome a different performer to the Piano Lounge to entertain you during the lunch hour. Enjoy delicious soups, salads, and sandwiches from the Firehall Cafe while listening to live music in downtown Lynden. There is no cover. Tips for the performers are always appreciated.
