Every Wednesday, the Jansen Art Center invites you to join us for free live music performance in our Piano Lounge 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM. Each week we welcome a different talented local pianist, guitarist or rom small ensemble. Emily Bailey started taking violin lessons at the age of eight and loved the instrument from the very beginning. She has been a violin teacher for over thirty years and is certified by the Music Teachers National Association. Emily performs with the Whatcom Symphony Orchestra, the Whatcom Symphony Chamber Orchestra, and the Whatcom Chorale Sinfonia as well as playing on the worship team at her church. She enjoys playing a mixture of popular, sacred and classical pieces. Emily is accompanied by Bethany Hilt, piano. Hilt is also a member of the Lynden Music Teachers Association.
